Visit to the Rotary Club of Nijmegen

On 9–10 April 2026, a delegation from our club paid a return visit to the Rotary Club of Nijmegen. On the first evening, we attended a meeting of the Rotary Club of Nijmegen, and the following day, Rotarians from Nijmegen showed us around the city and its surroundings. Among other places, we visited the town of Driel, known for the landing of the Polish 1st Independent Parachute Brigade on 21 September 1944 under the command of General Stanisław Sosabowski, during Operation Market Garden.
We concluded our visit to Nijmegen with a dinner together, and the whole event took place in an extremely warm atmosphere. We would like to express our sincere thanks for the hospitality shown to us.
We met the Rotarians from Nijmegen during a joint aid campaign for Ukrainian refugees in March 2022, and this friendship continues to this day.
